Our Goal
Outcomes
By 2020, 100% of APS students will develop 21st century skills to implement their plans.
100% of students will receive a C or better or Partially Proficient [PP] or better when using standards based grading in at least 3 of the 5 primary subject areas: English, Math, Science, Social Studies and Art/Music/PE.
We will get there by implementing high leverage systems including interim assessments, data-driven instruction, and observation feedback protocols. By 2020, 100% of APS schools will be implementing these systems with fidelity.
The expected outcomes for Goal 2 are increased growth and proficiency rates as measured by State indicators:
CMAS / PARCC
CMAS / PARCC growth
CMAS / PARCC growth for ELL students
How Will We Get There?
By 2020, 100% of APS students will develop 21st century skills to implement their plans.
The table displays the percentage of students receiving a C or better (or a Partially Proficient [PP] or better when using standards based grading) in at least 3 of the 5 primary subject areas (English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Arts/Music/PE).
If the student only enrolls in 4 of those subject areas, they must still pass a minimum of 3 to be included. If they enrolled in 3 areas, they must pass 2 to be considered successful. If a student is enrolled in 2 areas or less, they were not included in this table.
